A New Kind of New Year’s Resolution

I’ve got a suggestion for you, this year. Forget the New Year resolutions. Instead of the typical New Year resolutions, that seem to only last a few weeks, try something completely different. It will even help with your “resolutions”.

  1. Can you give me a different kind of New Year's resolution?
    Forget about weight loss, or striving to be a better person (though there is nothing wrong with that). I’m curious to know if someone in the Yahoo nation has a resolution that we don’t here of that often, or at all. Happy New Year everybody. 12:29 AM central time USA.

  15. i was thinking about making one of resolution to a more green person. Not necessarily to go conservative, but like recycle more, and pick things up. and use more environmentally safe products ( biodegradable etc)

  21. meet up with a friend u have lost contact with, (this is a fav. saying) "live like u r at the bottom even if u r on top"… be nice to inlaws (lol), make ur gf/wife/self homemade dinner at least once a month, remember the good, and live life like u were dyin

  22. Every year I start out by trying to say one complimentary thing to a stranger everyday. It sounds sort of corny, but I’m a cashier so I get a lot of opportunity to make someone smile. It’s an especially nice feeling to tell an older lady that her…….. is pretty. A sweater, jacket, pin, anything. I usually start out good, and then tend to forget about it as the year goes on, but when I do remember, I start it up again.

  25. My resolution is to earn a double income.

    i.e. 10,000 $ monthly basis.
    before 31th December 2008 , i have to achieve
    20,000 $ monthly basis.
