I suppose I did so in much the same way as you. Why waste it? Although it is not a regular practice I have blended for the purpose of a &quot;short-cut&quot; of pinpointing a beer with the flavors I want. It is usually a very strange and awkward flavor profile but sometimes it is palatable. Yet, I have never been able to reproduce the blended beers.
