  1. Self Discipline?
I am horrible at self discipline.

It was never really a problem before since I was in basic classes in freshman year and it all came easy to me, but now its affecting my grades real badly now that I’m a sophomore taking all advanced and AP classes. And I especially have a hard time disciplining myself to go to bed early , do my homework after school, and study.

I care a lot about my grades, and I can’t afford to be lazy anymore. How do you achieve self discipline? Any tricks or tips?

  2. - Start setting goals for yourself
    - Try utilise a daily diary and plan the next week or the next few days in advance to see what you need to do
    - Always note in your diary when the assignments are due
    - When closing exams, type up a list of topics you need to cover, print it out and tick off as you prepare
    - Make designated folders for each subject in order to stay organised
    - Stick a goal of a mark you may want to achieve infront of your desk
    - Stick a year planner to mark the term weeks and what is due when
    - Fun at fun time and study at study time, stick to your schedule, but don’t be too hard on yourself…its ok to be lazy sometimes :)

May be you just need a break and try follow the above and see what happens.
