The Timing of Change
It is always tempting to make changes at the beginning of the year. After all, it seems like a logical time to think about doing something different. But is that really the case? Can you recomend the mechanic shop?
james_park - March 4th, 2010 at 2:24 pmI can’t recommend any shops for you, too far away.
Ask family or friends for good repairers.
The belt can be purchased as a kit, with seals and tensioner included. The kit will cost about $250.
The waterpump will cost about $200 for a genuine unit, or about $100 for an aftermarket one.
Just add 5 hours of labour ( at whatever rate ), and the cost of coolant.

Depends on if your engine is the 4 or 6 cylinder model.
hotjessdd - March 4th, 2010 at 7:30 pmThe V6 will cost more as you have twice as many cams to time and the water pump sits deep in the engine valley.
